The Triple Entente

The Triple Entente was made of Great Britain, France, and Russia. Later in 1917 the US joined this side to help with the war. We helped them because Great Britain held onto a telegram that Germany sent to Mexico, but never got. The telegram told them that they should attack us so we would be to preoccupied to help the Entente with the war effort. We helped them because if they lost they couldn't pay the war debts. When it came to sign the treaty Russia wasn't allowed inside because they were so bent on revenge. They wanted the alliance to suffer for what they did.
